Larrakia Community Corporations
This website has been created by Aslan Professional Services (Aslan) as a practical tool to support the consultation process between the relevant Larrakia community corporations, the broader Larrakia community and INPEX.
Its purpose is simple: to provide a respectful, transparent and accessible place where information can be shared, questions can be answered and Larrakia People can participate as discussions progress. It is intended to provide everyone with the opportunity to understand what is being considered, why it matters and how they can contribute.
Project 2025 to 2050 is all about looking beyond today and considering the opportunities that could be created for generations of Larrakia People. Meaningful consultation is an important part of that process, allowing different perspectives to be shared and providing the time and space to consider what matters to the Larrakia community.
This website is one way of supporting that communication. It provides a place to stay informed, share views and follow the discussions as Project 2025 to 2050 develops.
Aslan understands that the nine Larrakia family groups are represented through membership across one or more of the Larrakia community corporations listed below.

Larrakia Development Corporation
The Larrakia Development Corporation (LDC) exists to create long-term economic opportunities for all Larrakia people. Owned and led by Larrakia Traditional Owners, the Corporation works to build businesses, create employment, develop partnerships and invest in projects that deliver lasting benefits to the community. Since its establishment in 2002, LDC has grown into one of Australia's leading Aboriginal commercial organisations, with a strong focus on creating sustainable wealth, supporting local employment and building opportunities that can be shared across generations. Every commercial partnership is guided by a simple principle: creating a stronger future for all Larrakia people through economic independence, good governance and responsible investment.

Larrakia Nation
The Larrakia Nation is the Traditional Owner group of the lands and waters surrounding Garramilla (Darwin) and has cared for Country for thousands of years. Rich in culture, language and tradition, the Larrakia people have a deep and enduring connection to their ancestors, their families and their Country. Today, the Larrakia Nation continues to grow stronger by honouring the past while creating opportunities for future generations. Guided by culture, respect and community, the Larrakia people are building a future where identity is celebrated, families thrive, young people are inspired, and the strength of the Nation continues to grow for generations to come.

Gwalwa Daraniki Association
Led by Helen Secretary, with a focus on the Secretary family, the Gwalwa Daraniki Association has played an important role in protecting and caring for Larrakia land, community and culture for more than four decades. As the custodian of the Kulaluk and Minmarama Park communities, the Association has worked to preserve places of deep cultural significance while supporting the wellbeing of the people who call them home. Beyond land management, Gwalwa Daraniki continues to advocate for the rights, interests and future of Larrakia people, helping ensure that decisions made today respect the past while creating opportunities for future generations to live with pride, dignity and a strong connection to Country.
